I think my neutral safety switch is acting up, but I can't seem to find it. I'm thinking it might be in the console area, but has anyone dealt with this before? Any tips or advice would be awesome.

Have you checked the side of the transmission where the shift cable connects?
You should be able to find the neutral safety switch in that area, or near the base of the steering column.
If you can share the symptoms you're experiencing, maybe members here can help you narrow down the issue or offer a specific advice!

The neutral safety switch is usually near the transmission or shifter assembly, sometimes under the console.

Thanks for the tip! I'll check around the transmission and steering column, the main symptom is the car not starting unless in neutral or park

I'll focus on those areas and dig around the shifter assembly, I am hoping to locate it soon and fix the issue without too much hassle

Yeah! Usually, you can find it under the shifter or near the transmission where it links up, but it really depends on the setup. I'd suggest taking off the console and checking there first
