2014 Buick Enclave oil leak problem

My brother just picked up a used 2014 Buick Enclave, and he's already run into a little issue. He just realised at home that the oil is dripping from the bottom of the transmission, right on the driver's side.

He's about to dive in and check the valve covers and PCV system, but curious if there are any well known issues on these cars that are famous for causing a leak in that spot.

Any ideas on what he should be looking for?

@p4ncak3s Those 3.6 engines are known for timing cover leaks, and the oil loves to travel before it drips. I'd check that area closely before tearing into anything else.
